Getting Moving on Recreation Planning

In 2019, the Comox Valley Recreation Commission identified the need for a long-term plan for recreation infrastructure – including field, ice and aquatic facilities. Since then, a lot of work has been done to understand the current condition and use of these facilities and the proposed options ahead. There is still a lot of work to be done on assessments and detailed design before any facility upgrades move ahead, but the CVRD is committed to keeping the community informed as we follow the path ahead.

There’s been a lot of work completed to understand current use and conditions of our recreation commission, and to map out a plan ahead. Now that priorities have been identified, what do you think we should be considering as we take the next steps in review/planning? (max 140 characters).
