Project Overview
Just one block from Dunsmuir Avenue, Penrith Avenue is a key route for people walking, biking, rolling, and driving in our community. We’re upgrading this section to enhance safety, improve accessibility, and ensure it meets both current and future community needs.
Upgrade Area
What We’re Proposing
Based on the feedback we received from residents and the community, the Penrith Avenue Roads and Utilities Upgrades Project will include a one-way street design as well as being expanded to now include the blocks between First Street and Fourth Street. In addition to surface improvements, we’ll be upgrading underground utilities to enhance service reliability and reduce maintenance needs. The existing infrastructure is aging and requires renewal to support long-term community growth.
