The Courtenay and District Memorial Outdoor Pool has served the Comox Valley for 76 years and is nearing the end of its service life. Without significant repairs or a plan for renovation or replacement, the pool faces permanent closure.

The Courtenay and District Memorial Outdoor Pool is located in Lewis Park near the Tsolum River, and next to the Lewis Centre. Although the pool shares the site with other community recreation amenities, in a central location near public transportation, it's within a 30m riparian zone and at risk of flooding.

The City of Courtenay is looking at options for the pool at Lewis Park. We want your input to help guide the next steps.
