Lancaster Park Community Concept Plan and Engagement
Lancaster Park was identified as a priority site to help address growing neighbourhood and community needs, including improved playgrounds, accessible spaces, and more opportunities for families and youth.
The Concept Plan will explore upgrades that reflect key directions identified through the Comox Parks and Trails Master Plan, including:
- Enhanced and expanded play areas for a range of ages
- Improved accessibility and inclusive design
- Added shade, seating, and gathering spaces
- Potential water or cooling features
- New or improved pathways and park connections
- Consideration of support amenities such as washrooms
Thank you for attending the outdoor pop-up community engagement event on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The information boards were highlighted at the park, and now you can provide your feedback in the community survey below, which is open until Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
