Residents of the Comox Valley Regional District’s Electoral Areas are invited to join their elected Directors at a drop-in meet and greet event on Tuesday, October 29.

Directors Daniel Arbour (Electoral Area A), Richard Hardy (Electoral Area B) and Edwin Grieve (Electoral Area C) will host the event, offering an opportunity for residents to learn more about CVRD projects and services, ask questions and share feedback with Directors.

The open house is drop-in style and will have staff on hand to talk about infrastructure upgrades, firehall projects, emergency preparedness and more. Residents are welcome to bring comments and questions of their own too.

“It’s a priority for us as Directors to connect with residents and hear about issues that are important to them,” said Director Edwin Grieve, Chair of the Electoral Area Services Committee. “This event is part of our effort to keep communication open – we look forward to seeing everyone.”

The Comox Valley Regional District is a federation of three electoral areas and three municipalities providing sustainable services for residents and visitors to the area. The members of the regional district work collaboratively on services for the benefit of the diverse urban and rural areas of the Comox Valley.
