    In 2023, 102 services were delivered to the residents in Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, and Electoral Areas A, B & C.

  • Parks & Recreation

    The CVRD manages and protects electoral area community parks, forests, beaches, and over 100 km of trails as well as manages recreation facilities that encourage active, healthy lifestyles for all residents.

  • Water

    Comox Valley Water Supply System connects +60,000 residents to clean, safe drinking water.

  • Sewer

    Comox Valley Water Pollution Control Centre ensures that Comox and Courtenay's liquid waste is effectively managed to minimize environmental impacts and follows regulatory requirments.

  • Solid Waste

    Comox Strathcona Waste Management service, works to minimize waste, maximize recycling and composting, and reduces environmental residuals in the state-of-the-art landfill.

  • Comox Strathcona Regional Hospital District

    The CVRD provides strategic and administrative leadership and support to the Comox Strathcona Regional Hospital District.

  • North Island 911 Corporation

    The corporation is administered by the CVRD, managing the provision of 911 within the North Island.
