The Village of Cumberland has updated the schedule for the final stage of the Liquid Waste Management Plan, currently under development. While originally proposed to be complete at end of 2024, additional time is required to complete important assessments.

The revised schedule includes:

• January: Completion of remaining technical studies (including sanitary and storm sewer master plans, storm-sanitary separation plan.
• February: Completion of financial planning for future works, including per-property tax implications. Host a second public open house and complete the draft Stage 3 report.
• March: Complete all technical documentation and draft report. Submit to Province if approved by the Advisory Committee and Cumberland Council.
