Road Closure Notice: Brent Road

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) announces a necessary road closure along Brent Road for four weeks starting August 6, 2024. Preparatory work in the area will be starting July 31, 2024. This road closure is essential for the sewer conveyance project construction. These works will be conducted during the hours of 7:00 am until 7:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.

To ensure the safety and convenience of commuters, detour routes will be clearly marked and supported with traffic control personnel along the detour route.

Traffic, including Brent Road residents and access to the Comox Valley Water Pollution Control Centre, will be detoured along Curtis Road, through the fire gate and along the maintenance access road (Map 1).

Commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and to anticipate additional travel time during the closure period. The cooperation and patience of the public are greatly appreciated as we work to enhance the sewer system infrastructure of our community.
