News Release: Overnight Road Closure of Section of Comox Road on September 3

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD), as part of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project, is required to close a section of Comox Road overnight on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, to facilitate construction of the sewer forcemain (MAP 1). The construction zone will be closed to all traffic, including bike and pedestrian traffic, from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Residents of Comox Road will be able to enter and exit from either end overnight. Two way traffic will be able to flow on Comox Hill during the night shift, before returning to one-way westbound traffic by 6:00 am on Thursday, September 4.

Construction is subject to suitable weather conditions or other possible construction-related delays. We apologize if timelines shift.
