Give your feedback on Barriers to Village Services

The Village of Cumberland, together with the Accessibility and Inclusion Committee, is creating an Action Plan to remove barriers to make Village Services more inclusive, equitable and accessible for everyone.

What we hope to learn:

The Village would like to learn about barriers you, or a person you support, have experienced while accessing Village programs, services and information. Examples include:

  • Customer Service
  • Village communication, website and engagement tools
  • Recreation Programs
  • Council meetings and elections
  • Bylaw services
  • Solid Waste Collection
  • Snow and Ice Control
  • How roads and sidewalks are maintained
  • How drinking water and sanitary sewer services are provided
  • How fire protection and emergency services are provided

The Survey focuses on three key areas:

  • Attitudes and Understanding
  • Communications, Engagement and Technology
  • Programs, Services and Practices

Share your feedback through the survey

We Want to Hear from You!

This survey is open to everyone who uses Village services. We especially want to hear from people whose voices may be under-represented, including Indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, caregivers, seniors, LGBTQ2S+ community members, people from visible minority groups, people with diverse language and cultural backgrounds, and people experiencing social, economic, or literacy barriers.
